Course Objective
Qualitative Research with MaxQDA is a training course for students, research scholars and faculty members looking to understand the foundations of qualitative research and becoming skilled in qualitative data analysis using MaxQDA.
Course Duration
Live sessions will be conducted for one week which will cover lectures and hands-on sessions on MaxQDA. Practical exercises will be given to participants along with the hand outs for practice which they should be able to complete within three months. Participants must also practice with their own research projects during these three months during which they will be guided and doubt clearing will be done through online forum.

- Creating and applying codes, organizing code system, Auto-coding
- Creating, importing, and using Document Variables
- Retrieving, comparing, and exporting data
- Visual tools – Document portrait, Code line, Word cloud; Pattern recognition and case comparison, word trends, code trends
- Code relations, patterns, and code map
- Creating concept maps, identifying emerging themes, and developing theory using MaxMaps
- Using AI assist for summarizing, generating codes, and explaining ideas, using AI assist for analyzing survey data
- Writing and presenting qualitative findings
